ENTICE Survival in Numbers

Date(s):
6/16/2018
Time(s):
9:00 a.m. - 3:00 p.m.
Description:
How are animals helped by living in groups? Which animals in Illinois do so? What are some detriments to living in groups? How is life in a group different from life as an individual? Our instructors will answer these questions and provide information, activities and resources on this topic that can help you to meet Next Generation Science Standards K-LS1-1 and 3-LS2-1 with your students. Although targeted to teachers of grades kindergarten and three, educators of all grade levels are welcome to register for the workshop but may need to adapt the materials and information. Professional Development Hours are available. This workshop is part of the ENTICE (Environment and Nature Training Institute for Conservation Education) program from the Illinois Department of Natural Resources. Register at https://www.enticeworkshops.com.
