Marseilles, IL – The Illinois Department of Natural Resources today announced that the second phase of the temporary repairs to the Illini State Park sewage systems have been completed. These repairs have allowed the park’s campgrounds, shower building, and flush toilet building to open. The concession stand at Illini State Park will also open soon. The temporary repairs will allow the campgrounds to remain open while permanent repairs are made to the site’s wastewater system.
Illini State Park also remains open for picnics and hiking – and the park’s boat ramp is open.
