Stewardship Day*War Bluff Valley Sanctuary

Description: 
Each second Saturday of the month is Stewardship Day at War Bluff Valley Sanctuary.  Bring work gloves, water and a sack lunch to help members of Illinois Audubon, Shawnee Chapter with the maintenance of trails, nest boxes, invasive plant removal and more, or if you have the opportunity please visit anytime.

War Bluff Valley Sanctuary is an Illinois Audubon site.  It is open from dawn to dusk every day.

From Golconda, Ill., follow Route 146 north about 3-3.5 miles to Bushwack Road.  A brown Wildlife Viewing sign is before the road.  Turn left on Bushwack , drive about 2.2 miles to the Sanctuary entrance.
