How do you tell a male box turtle from a female?  Is there a difference in looks between the venomous copperhead and a harmless prairie king snake?  And what is the skink, "lizard", with a blue tipped tail?  Hear how to identify some of the Illinois native animals by their uniques characteristics and experience an up close and personal interaction with reptiles native to southernmost Illinois.

After the formal indoor program , please accompany the presenter on a hike to look for these cold blooded creatures along the Todd Fink, Heron Pond Trail.
