Of snakes and turtles, snakes are the reptile which is both fascinating and frightening to some.  Knowledge can calm some of those fears.  Come to learn of the turtle and snake species found in southern Illinois and their characteristics.  There will be an opportunity to examine live reptiles native to this region. 

After the indoor presentation, join the presenter on an hour hike to look for cold-blooded creatures along the Todd Fink-Heron Pond Trail.
